After an extremely stressful summer at work, Adam wanted to get out of town and spend time with his family, so we headed north.
Some of it was fun. Some of it was not. The kids did not behave so great on this trip, so we went home a day early. Maybe it was the stress of starting a new school year, but it was all of them acting up.
We stayed in a hotel in West Yellowstone and because we went through Jackson Hole to get there, we ended up coming in the wrong side of the park and had to drive through the whole park late at night in a thunderstorm to get to our hotel. We saw a lot of pretty things, but we hope to go back and have a better family experience another time.
