Today April has completed 31 weeks with the triplets. Tomorrow we get to find out how big they are during an ultrasound at Dr. Korotkin’s office. I’ll plan on posting some pictures of the nursery and April soon.

/We have been greatly blessed to arrive at this point with few complications and just one visit to the labor and delivery at the hospital (at 27 weeks). April is currently on Terbutaline to stop/minimize contractions and has borne the pain and uncomfortableness of the pregnancy very impressively.

/A little background:

/We are having two boys and a girl. (I think she’ll be a well protected sister.) A normal 40 week birth date would be December 20, 2006. However, with triplets, the longest they allow the babies to stay in the uterus is typically 36 weeks, and thus this is our target. If this happens, the babies will be delivered on November 21, 2006 and should be, by then, a healthy birth weight and development stage.

/No we don’t know how we are going to handle it, but we’ll never have known any different!
