Merry Christmas

After a rough night of antics, we had a very nice Christmas with Brinlee, Kimball, Sawyer, April’s parents, and Nicki (April’s sister) and her husband Sam. The kids received some very nice gifts from Gran and Granddad (April’s parents) and Grandma and Grandpa (Adam’s parents), Adam’s grandpas, and Aunt Nicki and Uncle Sam. We all had a nice morning and a very nice Christmas dinner. Gran made the best turkey I have ever had. Literally. It was so moist and tender that we thought it must not be done, but it was. It was delicious. Not a dry piece on it. The kids even had the courtesy to sleep while we ate. We all had a very nice day.

/Of course the most important part of the day is remembering the birth of our Savior and the beautiful gift of the atonement that he brought us.

/We had planned to put them in their stockings earlier, but didn’t get around to it. We didn’t count on such rapid weight gain. We barely got it over Brinlee’s hips, and up to the diapers on the boys. You can see they love it.
