The day after the wedding, those of us who were not hungover or still drunk (pretty much just our family) went to the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, and it was really beautiful. I love gardens and have visited many. That was the most beautiful one I’ve been to, and it was extensive.
There was an entire section of structures made of clay pots.
Adam about to get trapped in a pumpkin shell where I will keep him very well.
And then I let a bunch of parrots sit all over me. I was sweating BULLETS that they might poop on me! But they didn’t. Phew!
I’m not sure what this army of ants is doing
But I thought I might go with them and find out.
We kept trying to find the entrance to go down in the garden. Turns out, they don’t WANT you to go in the garden. There is no entrance.
There were so many things there that the kids would have loved.
It was hard to be away from them for 2 whole weeks, but it was a fantastic trip.
That last night the family got together for another family dinner, and it was a lot of fun. And a lot of good food. I seriously gained 10 pounds on the trip, as evidenced in the pictures. So worth it, though. Adam and I always eat our way through whatever city/country we are visiting. The food is part of the culture and the trip!
